THE LIVING END - THE LIVING END - VINYL LP - Wah Wah Records
$50
The Australian Rockabilly Punks of The Living End had met in Melbourne in 1994: Chris Cheney played guitar and vocals and Scott Owen contributed double bass and background vocals. In 1996 Travis Demsey joined the band on drums .

In 1997, they celebrated commercial success with their EP "Second Solution / Prisoner Of Society" and conquered number 4 of the Australian single charts. Further singles followed, which were finally immortalized on their self-titled debut in 1998: "Prisoner of Society", "Save the Day", "All Torn Down", "West End Riot" and the single "Trapped", which was only released in the USA. The album reached number 1 in the ARIA album charts and stayed in the Top 50 for an incredible 63 weeks, which was enough in Australia to be awarded 4 times platinum. Until today the album is the most successful of the band.
