Published in 1976 by Private Stock Records and reissued on vinyl by MVD in June 2022, 'The Trogg Tapes' is the title of this album by the British band The Troggs. 11 songs of early garage and psychedelic rock written by the quintet formed by Reg Presley (vocals), Ronnie Bond (drums), Tony Murray (bass) and Rcihard Moore and Colin Fletcher (guitars). The authors of hymns like "With a Girl Like You" or "Wild Thing" and source of influences for bands like Buzzcocks, The Fleshtones, REM or MC5 unleash authentic lysergic madness on this LP, closing with a fierce version of the Rufus Thomas classic "Walkin' The Dog".
